I do not know if it is a bad thing but, though I could usually and easily disregard many things and some aspects of my daily activities, I seem to care about EVERYTHING A LOT, pathologically.

There is joy in early chilly morning walks/jogs/runs under the ironically languorous autumn trees and along pavements with scattered fallen leaves.

'Go Forth'
'Your life, is your life. Don’t let it be clubbed into dark submission. Beyond what we watch, there are ways out. There is light somewhere. It may not be much light, but it beats the darkness. Beyond what we watch, the gods will offer you chances; Know them, take them. You can’t beat death, but you can beat death in life, sometimes. [And] The more often you learn to do it, the more light there will be. Your life, is your life. Know it while you have it. You are marvelous that the gods wait to delight in you. Go forth. Take it on.'

Wow. There really come a time when you realize that people do go separate ways and grow out of love, the kind where that connection is clearly becoming really thin and in the verge of breaking. It makes you think about which better move to take: keep holding on to it, wait for it to snap, and get hurt or to simply let it go.

Anticipating a short foreign travel any time in the very near future, I pulled out my most traveled backpack, the one I flew the most often (even since my last years in PH) with and my hand carry coming to NYC. I did not realize that the compass, bought from the Hing's store in my hometown for 49Php when I was in high school, was still in its box in one of the pockets. A collection of flight tags was also very well secured in the bag. I might take the bag with me soon.

I feel like I am busy eight days a week!
[In a couple of years, maybe it'll become nine or ten. It's a good thing that I am prepared/used to it and actually savor challenges. (\m/ on?)]

Is it just me or is Sharebuilder's improved Portfolio Analysis really so helpful?

It is refreshing to see that, other than building schools and other public infrastructures (including clinics with medicine supply that is about the size of a regular medicine cabinet), witnessing the rising opium production and rampant political corruption, and being assigned to man posts outside the protected perimeter, outnumbered by a fully-funded army of Taliban, The Few, The Proud in Afghanistan can still do this:

Funny, I was accidentally called Alice by a (tired) colleague. ^_^
[And] I just realized that I, unintentionally, made my March a Max Lucado books reading month.

White icing had been spread all over yet again. I see cupcakes, holiday cookies, and a really enormous and elaborate frosted cake.
I was stuck in traffic for at least three hours during this snowstorm but it was so nice to see just how bright the scenery can be when all things are covered in snow <3.
